About the Role
The Electrophysiology Field Clinical Specialist will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians, laboratory staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe use of the products in Boston Scientific’s Electrophysiology portfolio (Farapulse, PolarX, Rhythmia, etc.). The territory to cover will be Campania, Puglia and Basilicata regions.


Your responsibilities will include:

Serves as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system, and software development. Educates customers and internal Boston Scientific employees on the merits and proper clinical usage of Boston Scientific devices by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals) to keep all abreast of the latest product and technology developments. Attends cases in labs of hospital accounts for case support and development efforts of Boston Scientific devices and their components. Providing initial and continuous, as needed, training and feedback for development team and sales representatives (as appropriate) on Boston Scientific’s product development process, products and features, and procedures involving those products and features. Meets with existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) by traveling (in an automobile or airplane) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them to achieve their goals. Develops relationships with hospital personnel (e.g., through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to make new contacts in other departments within hospitals and to identify key decision makers to facilitate future sales. Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the Campania region and may on occasion be required to support colleagues in neighboring regions. This remote field-based role will require travel (approximately 80%) across the associated regions.

 
What are we looking for in you:

Graduated or graduating with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Cardiovascular Perfusion or similar. Based in Campania (preferably Salerno). Knowledge of electrophysiology and/or Cardiology would be a plus Professional industry experience in a similar role is beneficial, however not a required for the role. Strong communication skills. Ability to understand and communicate complex technical and clinical details. Professional working proficiency language skills in both Italian and English. Additional languages skills are appreciated. Able to rapidly adapt to a very dynamic marketplace. Strong team player, collaborative, ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally. Self-motivated and able to influence others. Flexible, adaptable but focused and persistent. Willing and able to travel extensively as required by workload.
