Eurofins Regulatory & Consultancy Services Italy  ricerca, per la propria sede di  Vimodrone (MI),  un tirocinante curricolare per la stesura del progetto di tesi:

Description:  The proposed master's thesis project aims to explore and address the challenges associated with the renewal of rodenticide products under the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR). The focus of the research will be on implementing a scientific update of rodenticide formulations to enhance their effectiveness and safety profiles while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The primary objectives of the thesis include:

1.  Literature Review : Conduct an in-depth review of existing literature on rodenticides, their formulations, and the regulatory framework under BPR. Identify current trends, challenges, and gaps in knowledge regarding rodenticide products.

2.  Scientific Update of Formulations : Investigate and implement advancements in rodenticide formulations based on recent scientific developments. This may involve exploring novel active ingredients, delivery mechanisms, or synergistic combinations to improve efficacy while minimizing environmental impact.

3.  Comparative Assessment : Conduct a comprehensive comparative assessment of the updated rodenticide formulations against existing products. Evaluate their performance in terms of efficacy, safety, and environmental impact, using standardized testing methodologies.

4.  Regulatory Compliance : Analyze the regulatory requirements stipulated by BPR for the approval and renewal of biocidal products. Ensure that the updated rodenticide formulations align with the regulatory standards and contribute to sustainable pest control practices.

Qualifications

Essere attualmente iscritti al corso di Laurea in Safety Assessment of Xenobiotics and Biotechnological Products (Saxbi); Buona conoscenza della lingua inglese, sia scritta che parlata. Ottime capacità relazionali, organizzative e spirito critico. Conoscenza del pacchetto Office.
