If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you. We are currently seeking a Modularization Lead, reporting directly to the Modular Design Section to join the team based in Rome.

About The Role:

You will work inside the Modular Design Section that is in charge of the management of Proposals, Basic Engineering Design up to Detail Engineering Design of Modularized Onshore Projects.

Key interaction of Modularization Lead is internally with Project teams, Procurement, Construction and others engineering disciplines; externally with Clients, Yard fabricators and Transport Contractors.

Supported by other Departments (Construction, Logistic, Piping Layout, Modularization Lead shall manage the Modularization study to be executed at the early phase of the Project in order to evaluate the execution strategy (Modular Vs Stick-built) of the project and the extent of Modularization. 

The role and your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Develop the Modularization Study of the Project to support engineering and design, including the coordination with other departments in charge of specific contributions (Risk, Schedule, Cost, to the modularization study. Act as focal point of Client for Modularization program of the Project; Preliminary weight estimation of Modules; Provide expertise and guidance for optimal modular solutions based on site location, labor, shipping limits and project schedule requirements;  Ensure that modularization basis is developed and executed on projects early and establish standard methodologies to avoid execution risk on schedule or budget.  Coordinate and lead with engineering teams the modular scope during phases of basic design, detail design, fabrication, construction, and logistics planning on a project.

Qualifications: Master degree in Engineering discipline/Construction management; Languages: Fluent in Italian and English;

Main Skills and Requirements:

attitude to problem solving;  creation of tools for automatization of data management; attitude to perform the work in team, in an international and multi-cultural environment; growth mindset and continuous improvement approach; Good presentation and communication skills at all organizational levels; sharp eye for detail and capability to complete tasks on time with the required Company quality level and a high level of precision; availability to international mobility for either short or long term assignment;  minimum 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in the same role in the Oil & Gas sector.

IT Skills:

strong MS Office skills (great command of Excel); AutoCAD Microstation SmartPlant Review Navisworks
