Job Summary:

The Asset Manager Intern, based in Milan, will support the asset management team in charge of a portfolio of operative PV plants in Italy, with the target of supervising the assets’ operation, maximizing the production, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with the current technical regulations. The internship will last 6 months and will be paid.

Key Responsibilities:

Asset Management

• Support the manager in managing the relations with the energy services manager (GSE); the grid operators and Terna via the Gaudì portal;

• Management of relations with customs agencies (utf) including supervision of consumption

declarations;

• Support the manager in calculating and practical editing of “Arera” contribution, according to local resolutions, annual investigations and undbundling;

• Support in managing the PPA contracts with the trader for the sale of immediate energy, monitoring and invoice of monthly fees;
• Assistance and support on the integration and acquisition of new plants.

• Site visiting

O&M Supervision:

• Support the asset management team in coordinate the maintenance team;

• Support in preparing the annual maintenance plan;

• Spare parts management and tracking;

• During any development stage, perform estimations and support the due diligence team;

• Collect, analyze and format the relevant operating data on the organization and the external parties

and / or authorities; maintain records;

• Support in active direct and remote monitoring of the plants;

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school Diploma in technical/scientific area or Bachelor/Master’s degree in engineering, in technical/ scientific area

• Knowledge of electrical matters

• Ability to perform administrative tasks 

• Predisposition to teamwork

• Result oriented

• Proactivity and problem solving

The position reports hierarchically to the Solar Operations Director.
