We are seeking internal/external candidates for the position of
System Control Service Engineer
The resource will be in charge of define motion control system algorithm for industrial applications defining hardware specifications, application software development and field support during commissioning and troubleshooting. 
The scope is to provide technical support to Moog System groups in the development of special applications ( specifically Power generation and testing ) where motion control are key scope of supply.

Main accountabilities of the job:
­ Define in agreement with his supervisor the tasks priorities, being then capable of managing their execution within the agreed schedule
Define motion control algorithm strategies and optimize closed loop parametrizations
­ Define the control system hardware configuration selecting standard and customized products in order to match application requirements
Carry out engineering calculations to support the product design or specific projects 
­ Bring new systems to production successfully and provide technical documentations to the production on timely and quality manner
­ Collaborate with other Moog Technical and Application groups to provide design support of complex solutions and deal with external resources (suppliers, test lab, consultants, for product development necessity
Collaborate with customer to study new applications and/or solve technical issue
Apply Moog standards and procedures in the execution of assigned tasks
­ Contribute to the improvement of current design and development tools and standard and lean project involvement

Special circumstances:
­ Special requests from other Moog locations could require the resource to take part in special projects and activities requiring his specific expertise and background
The incumbent could work in team with resources outside of Italy driving the need to coordinate himself in a multicultural environment and to travel to other Moog locations.
The incumbent must be capable of arranging his short term tasks but needs the support of a supervisor in the definition of priorities and for the execution and support of longer term and more complex projects.
The incumbent could be asked to support at customer in case of new applications and/or field issue.
The incumbent could be asked to support at customer site ( power gen and test plants ) on the for extensive periods in time in Italy and abroad

Qualifications that are desirable:
Graduate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
> 5 years of progressive experience (usually post-education) in the field of motion control systems and closed loop applications
Requires good level of motion control closed loop systems
High English level
Travels will be required to carry out commissioning and field services and to cooperate with other Moog groups
