Responsibilities / Tasks
Role Mission
· Responsible and accountable for continuous improvement and efficiencies across the Company’s products, systems, operations and processes (focus mainly in Production Department)
· Supporting the implementation and coordination of the Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the Company.
· Delivering operational improvements through the strategic deployment of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools and techniques.
Key accountabilities
· Contribute to the creation of best practice Lean Vison, strategy, policies, processes and procedure to aid and improve operational performance.
· Develop a robust continuous improvement strategy in partnership with the Production Team and key business stakeholders.
· Evaluate all continuous improvement activities and implement plans to optimize performance and processes
· Support in providing the strategy, creating the infrastructure, and leading the project to meet the Group strategic goals
· Standardize design criteria
· Support in implementing and ongoing improvement of a sustainable Lean Operating System at the mill level
· Support in developing and delivering Lean training at all levels of the organization ensuring Lean knowledge is kept standard, current, and ongoing for all team members
· Implement and support cultural change across the organization and drive business improvement
· Report on progress of projects, understanding the risks, dependencies, budgets, resourcing, issues, critical milestones and forthcoming pipeline, and action to ensure success.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Key Requirements
· Lean toolkit application skills (value stream mapping, 5S, Kanban, Error proofing, SMED, team problem solving, TQM, TPM etc.)
· Value Stream and process Mapping
· Ability to report to Top Management
· Management or Mechanical Engineering education
· Fluency in English
· Flexibility, Learning agility, teamwork skills
· Proactively contribute to creating a good team atmosphere
· Good leadership and man-management skills
· Good interpersonal skills
· Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members
· Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
Seniority Level
1-2 years’ experience in operational and lean manufacturing project implementation
