Job Description

  • Responsible for fire safety strategy and execution / management of fire protection / detection scope in energy from waste EPC projects globally in terms of time, quality and budget.
  • Coordination and preparation of conceptual and basic engineering with consideration of internal and external interfaces, incl. preparation of technical specifications
  • Responsible for supplier selection, purchase order, and expediting during detail engineering (incl. documentation management and inspections)
  • Active collaboration with layout engineering, and other engineering disciplines
  • Providing support during construction phase

Qualifications

  • Trained engineer or technical specialist with more than 3 years of relevant experience in industrial projects
  • Experience with NFPA code. Experience with BS standards advantageous
  • Strong communication, negotiation and organisation skills
  • Awareness of high quality
  • Solution oriented , team player and self driven personality
  • Experience in dealing with suppliers and in procuring complex systems
  • Comfortable to work in English (speaking and writing)
  • Experience with MS Office applications
