We offer a role as Production Scheduler, who will report to the Planning Manager Italy and will be based in our site in Zola Predosa (BO). This figure will closely collaborate with production managers, shift leaders and supply chain in order to create and monitor the production schedules according to capacity, required timings and machines and plants’ availability. The candidate will also be responsible for the analysis of production KPIs in order to keep track of the efficiency of production processes and introduce corrective actions where necessary.


Key Responsibilities

Plan work flows by predicting time, resources and use of machines and plants and draw up daily production schedules accordingly.Monitor the actual progress of production compared to the planned one and introduce appropriate corrective actions where necessary coordinating teams and managing and scheduling shifts (in collaboration with shift leaders and production managers).Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand and assign workers and other staff to particular production operations.Manage and create statistics and checks on the efficiency of production processes (KPIs), to identify actions to improve the activities and planning.Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.), and prepare and submit status and performance reports.Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff.Work on the optimization of production procedures.

Required Competencies:

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering or Management Engineering) is preferred.A previous experience in a production environment is considered a plus.An advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.Fluent English is required.Continuous improvement approach.Result-oriented and proactive approach.Good problem-solving attitude.
