We’re recruiting an experienced Lead Assessor on the environmental and climate change field to join our Assessment & Assurance Italian team.

This is an exciting opportunity to take an active role managing and delivering projects ensuring service excellence and helping clients to implement, improve and demonstrate their commitment and progress towards authentic sustainability.

You will work on a wide range of sustainability services primarily focused on the assessment of environmental and climate change performance of organizations, products and projects. When doing this, you will be engaged with many leading companies across a wide range of sectors and to leverage a suite of services aiming to deliver innovative solutions. 

Position Qualifications

Key Accountabilities:

You will be expected to deliver and manage assessment and assurance projects ensuring consistent and high-quality customer care through the following activities:

Delivering on time, budget and according to DNV quality standards and clients’ expectations Developing tailored solutions to ensure that we can effectively support our customers in their sustainability reporting and achieving their carbon reduction objectives. Leading and communicating effectively within the other sustainability team members and clients

The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:

Bachelor degree or higher relevant to the environmental field 3 years experience delivering assurance / consultancy services Proficiency in one or more of the following: EU ETS directive / GHG inventories reporting Life cycle assessments and use of LCA tools such as Gabi and/or Simapro Carbon / Water footprints and other environmental impact metrics GHG emission reduction Projects Can effectively communicate technical topics to a non-technical audience Willingness to travel and work around Italy and the South Europe region and on occasions overseas. Fluency in English and Italian.
