Job Description:

Required Qualification and Skills:

·Degree in Electrical Engineering

·Good knowledge of AUTOCAD

·Fluent written and spoken English;

·Attitude to coordinate construction activities

·Attitude to team work and passion for the space sector.

·Availability to travel, not limited to Telespazio Teleports but also including worldwide destinations for limited period of times, is required.

Preferred Qualification and Skylls

·Knowledge of Medium Voltage /Low Voltage Electrical Plant

·Knowledge of electrical power distribution systems technologies

·Experience in the use of AUTOCAD to draw layout of building and utilities plant diagrams

·Experience in the development of project documentation (Technical Note, Product technical specification, Statement of work

·Experience in the application of safety norms (D.lgs. 81/08)

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Design of Electrical infrastructures and data cabling for satellite communications ground station (MV Power Distribution Panels, LV Power Distribution Panels, Power distribution systems for Datacentre and Control Room, Layout of lighting and sockets plant for buildings, Data cabling layout for Lan infrastructures, Fire detection systems, access control systems)

Supervision of the construction phases of electrical infrastructures for satellite system ground station.

Development of projects for the upgrade of facility utilities and auxiliary systems: electrical power distribution systems, air conditioning systems, access control system, Fire detection systems.

Definition of structured data cabling of operational areas

Development of technical-economic proposals for tenders

Main activities consist of the following:

-Requirements analysis

-Definition of the architecture and technical specifications of electrical plant and data cabling Infrastructures

-Development of building upgrade layout

-Development of technical notes, product technical specification and statement of work

-Infrastructure project technical management

-Technical management of the procurement.

-Technical management of the subcontractors

-Progress supervision and control during works with respect to estimated times and costs

-Management of the construction and installation, integration and testing activities.
