To support its strong and rapid growth, Nordex Italy is looking for a Senior Accountant on a  Permanent  basis to join the team at our office in Rome.

The role is responsible for bookkeeping, accounting and controlling support, as part of the finance function.

YOUR TASKS:

Accounts payable and accounts receivable management Vendors’ payment management Purchase order and invoice matching Accounts and bank reconciliations Support to the junior accountant, if required Employees’ travel expenses monitoring Support relevant operations staff regarding finance accounting processes and procedures, e.g., cost centre reviews Assist where required with the annual budget process for the region and update forecasts when required Assist where required with annual audit VAT statements establishment and other Italian tax compliance Monthly, quarterly and annual closing finalisation Always have an open eye for new ways of working, automatisation process improvements Any ad hoc finance tasks & projects

YOUR PROFILE:

Bachelor of Finance or similar At least five years of accounting and/or controlling experience, preferably in an international environment Experience of the financial control and reporting requirements Experience of financial control of multi-million EURO projects is ideal, not compulsory Italian, with good English skills. Good working knowledge of SAP + Business analyser Microsoft Office, specifically Excel & Powerpoint Excellent analytical ability, with a feel for numbers as well as strong interpersonal and intercultural skills Equally important is excellent communication skills Highly motivated, business oriented and used to work independently within a matrix based organisation
