Service Engineer

As a Service Engineer specializing in Quality Control Systems (QCS), you'll provide planned maintenance on our IQ Scanner and help develop new Automation solutions for customers, mainly in the paper industry. With initial training, you'll progress to troubleshooting and complex services, participating in project implementation and supporting service sales.
Based in Milan or Gorizia, you’ll work mainly in Italy regularly visiting customers across your territory, but you'll also support West Europe Service Automation team as needed.
 

To succeed in this role:

Relevant educational background such as bachelor’s degree in electronic, automation, or mechanical engineering. Proven experience of minimum 3/5 years preferably in paper or other process industry. Ability to learn fast and willingness to take up the challenges of daily work. Ability to work under pressure in different customer situations and in different cultural environments. Self-managed and ability to set your own daily and weekly priorities with the customer. Passion for serving customers, for collaborating with your colleagues, and for being a model of a highly technological generation. Passion for applying world-class technology to our customers benefit. Knowledge of some world-class automation technology is considered a plus. Good command of both Italian and English language, written and spoken. Other languages are plus. A valid driving license and willingness to travel (up to 50/70% of the time)
