The Commercial Operations Engineer (COE) has a background experience of rotating equipment packaging and procurement for the Oil and Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical industry. COE has a good knowledge of rotating equipment maintenance and a strong technical background of reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, pumps, gas and steam turbines applications, and other rotating equipment. Possesses market view and customer knowledge for the assigned territory. Knows customers organization and has established relationship at all levels.

COE will support and expand relationships with local customer and will drive order generation for Engineered Operation and Maintenance Solutions growth in the country. COE will collaborate with the global organization on strategic partnership and localization programs in country, as well as support with specifying and sourcing of specialty items internationally.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate with global commercial team to develop proposals, quotations, and technical support solution for customers. Support global commercial team, customers, and vendor partners, on application engineering and technical project management activities. Support project execution and customer interaction per contractual requirements
Customer entry point for technical support and engineered solutions provision. Coordination with CST technical support and Solution portfolio management Support data collection for equipment troubleshooting and Route Cause Analysis Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, PFD, DWGs Be flexible with time scheduling to meet customer needs Participate in company-based learning Able to provide order intake update and forecasts Create, revise, and maintain proposals for parts and service in collaboration with partners and outside sales team as required Handling incoming parts inquiries from internal and external customers via phone, email or in person Determining customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions Work closely with customers to develop and implement value-added solutions for kitting and inventory strategies  Assist customers in accessing internal and external technical support, including issue resolution and upgrade opportunities Accurately processing customer and vendor quotes and orders Maintaining accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers and vendors Work with vendors and shipping companies to expedite deliveries Support customers and service team with sourcing and procurement of parts and supplies Assist with training and mentoring of junior personnel Other duties as required or inspired

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

BS degree in ME or technical disciplines (MBA preferred) Minimum 5 yrs experience of maintenance services in oil and gas/chemical/petrochemical Maintenance, Technical advisory, Sales, Commercial, roles on rotating equipment Strong technical background of rotating equipment and auxiliaries, with special focus on Operations and Maintenance Strong communication, self starting/entrepreneurial attitude Has established relationships with customers and vendors in market space Knows the rotating machinery market well Proficient in MS office, experience with ERP, CRM, PLM
