Eurochiller Srl, part of the Atlas Copco Group, is a Leading European designer and manufacturer of customized chillers and thermoregulation units, with a specific focus on plastic applications with a Full-in house design, assembly and testing activities. The company has two fully-certified production sites located in North of Italy and Slovakia.

Eurochiller is now looking for a new Project Engineer electrical design based in the Italian Site in Castello D’Agogna – PV.

Job description

In this role you are a team member acting as project electrical engineer inside of chiller projects from concept to production. You report the overview and status of the projects to the product develop, to whom you’ll report to.Your most important responsibilities are supporting the projects by bringing together and analyse the input for the different technical aspects. This you do by/ Such as:

Design and develop electrical systems, including circuits, wiring diagrams, and components, for various projects.Create detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and drawings using industry-standard software.Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into new products or systems.Participate in product development from concept to production, including prototyping and testing.Identify and select appropriate components and materials for electrical designs.Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure functionality and performance.Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, making design modifications as needed.Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of electrical designs and changes.Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.Create Bill of Materials (BOM) and provide support for procurement and manufacturing processes.Evaluate and analyse the cost of electrical components and systems.Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest design optimizations.Ensure projects are completed within budget constraints.Ensure that all electrical designs comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure compliance.Participate in design reviews and risk assessments.Support production & service in case of problems with controls or electrical design

You take initiative and cooperate on continuous improvement of the new product development and the engineering process in general.

Experience requirements

Degree in electrical/electronic engineering, or min. technician degree with comparable, sound work experience in electrical engineeringYou possess in addition a high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and the desire to continuously learn and improveExperience in a PLC controls is a plusExperience in a R&D environment is a plusExperience with the chiller technology is a plus

Knowledge

Fluent in English. Good command of Italian.A good general technical knowledgePLC programming background
