Job Description

We are actively looking for a  HSE Assistant  who will join our team in supporting an important client operating in the Energy sector.

Main tasks include:

Develop health, safety and environmental processes, procedures and guidelines on the construction site, including identifying risks and training employees on how to handle hazardous materials or situations Ensure all safety equipment is in good condition and available for use by all employees Conduct inspections to identify potential hazards and create plans to eliminate them Developing emergency response plans for natural disasters, fire risks, chemical spills, etc. Maintain accident and injury logs to track trends and improve safety measures Create and enforce occupational health and safety standards in compliance with federal, state and international regulations Monitoring the work environment to ensure it is safe for employees to work Conduct accident investigations when accidents occur to determine causes Establish emergency preparedness plans to ensure the company can continue operations in the event of an emergency Support the HSE Manager with all safety and environmental matters.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Hygiene or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with specialization training in safety, environment and health or environmental sciences. Differential degrees or specializations may be considered if the content of the study courses is equivalent. Construction site experience is required Previous experience in the role and knowledge of industry standards/guidelines Fluent English and Italian
