Project Buyer

Here you will be encouraged to act as a leader, find innovative solutions, share your ideas and accept this new exciting challenges:
• Lead R&D sourcing activities and processes during new product development;
• Support to achieve supplier Quality, Cost and delivery targets and execute Sourcing and Procurement actions in each project;
• Presents TCO analysis to support data driven supplier award decisions, collecting and analyzing part and mold cost breakdown;
• Support each check point with detailed BOM direct cost analysis bringing evidence of main gaps to CT, escalating to global procurement organization critical cost increase;
• Apply commodity sourcing strategy for project components;
• Make or buy analysis;
• Schedule and coordinate the prototyping of tools and product samples (Alpha, Beta and Pilot build) assuring suppliers OTD commitment;
• Ensure all project check point phases closure on time;
• Supplier tooling management for NPD projects (Mould negotiations, mold cost breakdown analysis, confirmation of possession of Datasensing materials);
• Implementing technical saving initiatives

Your skills will be valued along with the following expertise:
• Bachelor's degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or Physics or High School diploma with relevant experience in complex similar organizations in sourcing & procurement. MCIPS or Master considered as a plus;
• 3 years of Strategic Sourcing/Commodity Management/ Project Sourcing / Procurement in Electronic/Industrial/Automotive field
• Languages: Italian, English (business fluent);
• Capability to interact technically with R&D team
• Capability to define and implement commodity strategies;
• Competence in contract and supplier agreements;
• Precision, analytical thinking, excellent timing and priority management;
• Excellent team player and collaborative style in an international environment;
• Strong excel skills;
• Good technical knowledge of mechanical parts and electronics components and PCB as a plus;
• Good knowledge of SAP is a plus.
