Director, Country Management Italy (m/f/d)

As the Country Head for Italy, you will lead the respective Customer Market Team to further expand the leading position in the Italian market by fostering a spirit of collaboration and trust, defining objectives and forging alignment on required decisions and actions. Our goal is to enable everyone to live their healthiest lives possible

About the role:

  • During the Annual Operating Plan cycle, it is the Country Manager’s responsibility to ensure objectives, assumptions, resource needs or dependencies are explicitly aligned with functional management, other Customer Market Teams or Product Teams.

  • Reaching the overall P&L targets for the respective market

  • Lead the Customer Market Team, spread across Milan, Cologne and Berlin, within a matrix organization structure

  • Further develop and superordinate the steering of the respective business strategy (incl. Brand Strategy, Product proposition, Assortment, Pricing, CX)

  • Monitor customer satisfaction and continuously improve the customer experience

  • Manage and monitor revenues and profitability to reach the defined targets incl. forecasting sales/revenues and marketing costs on a regular basis

  • Take the lead for annual pricing negotiations with strategically important partners and service providers

  • Challenge and improve the marketing mix in collaboration with our marketing department.

About you:

  • Multiple years’ work experience in retail e-Commerce B2C

  • Relevant work experience in commercial leadership roles within a fast-growing, very dynamic setting

  • Demonstrated track record in steering P&L responsibility for a certain area within a company or overall business

  • Experienced in applying insights and KPIs to strengthen a market position and to drive market share growth and revenue

  • Fluent English and Italian communication and negotiation skills

  • Close connection to similar businesses, strong network into respective countries ecom-world.
