HS Manager

We are looking for a HS Manager for our HQs.

The person will be involved in the following activities:

Leading the HS function in Italian plants; Ensuring site compliance with health and safety laws; Ensuring the completion of the reports required by law and their analysis; Supporting management in the dissemination of laws and corporate regulations and culture on health and safety; Assessing the risks in the workplace for the different tasks and propose the most appropriate protective equipment; Identifying and suggest solutions to improve safety systems and accident prevention in order to minimize the risk of injuries and accidents; Planning and support the organization of training activities for legal and business correspondence related to Health and Safety; Informing/training employees on the risks present in the plants; Maintaining relations with external bodies responsible for monitoring site activity in the field of health and safety at work; Implementation of standards and SW programs such as ergonomics, SW management systems; Supporting audit activities (Law, Corporate, Insurance). 

REQUIREMENTS:

People management experience; Knowledge of international laws and standards on Health and Safety; Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken; Excellent communication and relationship skills; Ability to plan and identify solutions; A concrete approach to convey the culture of safety; Leadership skills and passion for health and safety.
