About Manto Venture

We are an AI-native company builder. We create autonomous companies inside hyper-vertical markets, run them with AI agents instead of headcount, take them to monopoly, then sell. We were founded by multiple-time founders with exits behind them. The name comes from Manto, the seer of Greek myth: we look where no one else is looking.

The role

Founding CTO. You will build the engineering core that lets a handful of people ship and operate many products in parallel. Your real job is to design the loops that let us run the entire company as if it were a single GitHub codebase: every process versioned, automated, agent-driven, self-healing.

What you will build

• The agent factory. Systems where roughly 80% of the work (build, ops, content, growth, support) is done by AI agents, not people.
• Products in parallel. The infrastructure, patterns and tooling to spin up, validate and scale many bets at once, not one at a time.
• The company as one codebase. A single-repo mentality for the whole org. Every process is code. Every company we launch inherits the same autonomous backbone.
• 0-to-1 and 1-to-n. You go from an empty repo to a live product, then turn it into a machine that repeats itself.

Who you are

• High agency. You take a vague problem and return a shipped product. You do not wait to be told what to build.
• An engineer who thinks in leverage and systems. You have shipped real things end to end.
• Fluent with LLMs and agentic systems: tool use, orchestration, evals, RAG, autonomous loops. You have built with agents.
• Comfortable owning the whole stack and the ambiguity of 0-to-1.
• You want ownership, not a comfortable seat.

• Founding CTO, with meaningful equity, discussed alongside a base salary.
• Based in Milan, in person.

• Building alongside founders who have done this before and exited.
