For a multinational company operating in the Distribution sector and leader in its field, we are seeking a Senior Corporate Affairs Manager in Rome office (Italy)
Reporting to: Corporate Affairs Director
Team Management: in staff with the Corporate Affairs Director, he/she manages a team of professionals.
Position Purpose
The Senior Corporate Affairs Manager, in staff with the Corporate Affairs Director, supports the definition and implementation of the company’s institutional relations, public affairs, corporate communications, stakeholder engagement strategy, and ensures the company’s effective positioning with institutions, regulatory authorities, trade associations, media, and key stakeholders.
The position supports the Corporate Affairs Director in managing external relations and strategic issues with significant reputational and regulatory impact, contributing to the protection and enhancement of the company’s reputation and to the creation of a favorable environment for business development.

Key Responsibilities (in collaboration with the Corporate Affairs Director):
Public Affairs & Institutional Relations
- Advises on the definition and implementation of the Public Affairs strategy in line with company and Group objectives.
- Manage and develop relationships with:
- Ministries and central government administrations;
- Parliament and relevant parliamentary committees;
- Independent authorities and regulatory bodies;
- Regional and local institutions;
- Trade associations and representative organizations.
- Prepare and organize industry analyses related to the company’s business area to support its strategic positioning within the value chain.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, assessing their impact on the business.
- Coordinate advocacy activities and represent corporate interests in compliance with applicable regulations, both at Italian and European level.
Corporate Communications
- Oversees the company’s corporate and reputation management communication strategy, and advises on the management of relationships with media, journalists, and opinion leaders.
- Supervise the preparation of press releases, position papers, speeches, and institutional materials.
- Ensure consistency of corporate messaging across internal and external stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Identify, map, and manage stakeholders relevant to the company.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with institutional, business, and social stakeholders.
- Support senior management in networking and representation activities.
- Foster dialogue with stakeholders on sustainability, compliance, and industry development issues.
Strategic Support to the Corporate Affairs Director
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Corporate Affairs Director on institutional, regulatory, and reputational matters.
- Prepare briefings, analyses, and scenario planning related to political, regulatory, and market developments.
- Support the management of strategic dossiers and special initiatives.
Crisis & Reputation Management
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of reputational crisis management plans.
- Coordinate communications with external stakeholders during sensitive situations.
- Monitor public sentiment and reputational risks, recommending corrective and preventive actions.
