About Meridium

Meridium is building an institutional-grade platform for the tokenization of real-world assets (“RWAs”), operating at the intersection of traditional capital markets and next-generation digital asset infrastructure.

We are building infrastructure to support the compliant origination, issuance, management, and trading of tokenized securities backed by high-quality real-world assets.

We are focused on commodities, financial assets and real estate across key financial jurisdictions.

Our long-term objective is to leverage our international experience to become a recognized infrastructure partner connecting issuers, asset owners, and investors through regulated digital securities markets.

Role Description

We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join Meridium’s senior leadership team.

This role is well-suited for an experienced technology leader with a strong background in financial technology, digital assets, capital markets infrastructure, enterprise software development, and regulated financial systems.

The successful candidate will operate in a fast-moving startup environment and play a central role in building an institutional-grade technology platform from the ground up.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with responsibility across platform architecture, tokenization infrastructure, smart contract frameworks, technology strategy, cybersecurity, vendor selection, and product development.

The CTO will work closely with the founders, legal and compliance teams, and external technology providers to develop a scalable, secure, and compliant technology ecosystem capable of supporting institutional adoption of tokenized real-world assets.

While the role is Colombia-based, it will have an international scope. Meridium is a Canadian company with a geographic strategy focused on North America, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.

The CTO will be expected to support technology decisions across these jurisdictions.

The role is remote, with collaboration across a distributed international team.
