Complete Retail Sales:

  • Assist customers in purchasing items.
  • Help customers find specific products.
  • Process payments, including making change and applying discounts.
  • Handle special orders for out-of-stock or specialty items.

Respond to Customer Questions:

  • Answer inquiries about products, stock availability, and promotions.
  • Familiarize yourself with store policies and offerings.

Arrange Displays:

  • Create visually appealing displays and merchandise items.
  • Organize seasonal and holiday displays.
  • Ensure correct pricing before placing items on shelves.

Maintain Stock and Inventory Records:

  • Restock items and keep inventory records.
  • Conduct periodic inspections to compare inventory levels with internal records.

Collaborate with Others:

  • Work closely with other retail staff.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely product delivery.

Analyze Sales Data:

  • Generate sales reports and identify trends.
  • Evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of major initiatives.

Communication and Problem-Solving:

  • Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
  • Use critical thinking to address challenges and achieve objectives.

Education and Skills:

  • A degree in STEAM or business administration is preferable.
  • Strong analytical skills to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with financial concepts (P&L, balance sheets).
  • Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Initiative, commitment, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
