Technical Sales Engineer

As Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components. We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components to our clients all over the world. Our business is based on a trusted, long-lasting net of relationships with industry leaders, both on the supplier and customer side.
We aim to hire a Technical Sales Engineer. They will be joining a team reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
What will you be doing at Arrow?
- Building, maintaining, and developing strategic relationships with customers, suppliers and Arrow partners.
- Focusing on technical needs of complex, emerging, or underpenetrated prospects.
- Creating new opportunities and product selection within the accounts and creating demand activity using technical resources as needed.
- Utilizing distribution and supplier knowledge to grow market share and sales.
- Understanding of customersâ needs and how to translate them to Arrow requirements or opportunities.
- Attending supplier training events to keep up to date on product line.
- Working within an assigned customer base to grow and develop the business, expanding market share and maximizing Arrowâs share of customer spend.Â
What are we looking for?
- 3 years+ of related experience.
- Degree in electronics studies.
- Ability to sell, influence and negotiate.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels of customers and suppliers.
- Fluency in English, and local language.
- Electronic component knowledge (Semi and IP&E products).
- Driverâs license.
