Job Description

The Marketing Operations & Business Excellence Unit within our Company Animal Health Italy is focused on digital transformation and customer centricity to support the top line and profitability growth of the Company and to be the best in class in digital and data management.

The Marketing Operations & Business Excellence Director reports directly to the Exec. Dir. & General Manager of our Company Animal health Italy.

She/He leads a Team of more than 10 people, and in charge of strategic and complex activities:

  • Digital Innovation, Customer Service & Supply Chaining

  • Business Intelligence & Sales Force Effectiveness

  • Marketing Operations

  • Data Analysis

  • Digital Marketing

She/He entails with financial resource management and has also a significant impact to support the top line growth of the company and to manage the external field force.

She/He drives the implementation of strategic projects (aiming to support the growth of the business and maintain market lead position in a constantly changing competitive environment) ensuring timing, effectiveness and coordination between functions.  In the role a key skill is the ability to influence the executive management, the BU leads and people across divisions (i.e., IT, Finance, Regulatory, Legal...), at regional level (i.e. Supply Chain, Business Operations) as well as various external partners.

Key responsibilities:

Primary activities would include, but are not limited to:

  • Execute and implement comprehensive data analytics strategy aligned with the organization’s overall business goals to provide insights from analytics and metric tracking, including leveraging existing dashboards (global/regional/local) and creating new insights from available data sources

  • Oversee the collection, organization and management of data from various sources, including new platforms integration

  • Support new partnerships with 3rd party data providers

  • Lead the analytics org. locally to drive analysis, generate insights and collaborate with stakeholders to drive local strategy

  • Understand processes related to analytics solutions implementation (i.e. testing, approvals etc.) and navigate the organization to ensure effective delivery new solutions

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand the business needs, data sources and technical setup

  • Drive commercial and rebates analytics (e.g., corporate accounts bonus calculation) on a local level

  • Track key KPIs to measure sales performance of all commercial and marketing efforts

  • Oversee omnichannel and customer experience strategy across species to maximize synergies and best practices between teams

  • Manage team of Omnichannel Campaign Managers that support the species teams

  • Report to leadership on overall omnichannel and digital delivery impact and planning

  • Plan long-term in-house and 3rd party support to meet omnichannel / digital demand in market

  • Coordinate & Supervise the Digital Transformation, CS & Supply Chain Lead.

  • Enhance the customer experience and accelerate value creation by embedding digital technologies, data & analytics.

  • Enable an innovative way to engage customers

  • Deliver key service outcomes for customers in B2C environment, for both pharma and technology business

  • Identify process and performance improvement and efficiencies for the customer

  • Oversight and coordinate privacy aspects of CRM and its additional functionalities (e.g.: management of AHCP engagements, sponsorships and events).

  • Responsible and accountable for the development, delivery, implementation reporting and monitoring of Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) to achieve key business objectives across different Business area and Countries.

  • Responsible for leading the strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence applications in Italy and Greece cluster.

  • Initiate, lead and drive key programs and projects to include Territory Design, Territory Alignment and Segmentation & Targeting Working with the Commercial Team to deliver S&T for all stakeholders across the channels being deployed to include face to face, remote access, digital, MCM, consumer and mass market to support the optimization of stakeholder interaction.

  • SIP for sales force employees; Incentive scheme design and payout calculation

  • Work with BUDs to design and develop the necessary reports and analysis necessary to monitor the business results and drive/improve the effectiveness of our marketing campaign.

Requirements

  • Degree in Economics or similar

  • Relevant experience in Digital Marketing, Marketing Operations, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, strategic Field Cost Management, supply management, customer support

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent written and verbal English

  • Strong experience working closely with the Business Units, IT partners and Vendors

  • Proven financial acumen and extended Financial analytics understanding

  • Experience in Project Management and proven track record managing multiple project implementations and workstreams

  • Familiarity with Digital platforms, customer portals, e-commerce solutions

  • High degree of autonomy, empowerment and trust from the Executive Management and the entire organization is essential to define and implement strategic initiatives focusing on digital transformation and Customer centricity
