Job SummaryJoan's British Centre is a language school located in Verbania, a beautiful area in the North of Italy, on the shores of Lake Maggiore. The school is looking for a passionate language tutor to join its staff.

This position is open for a native-level/mother tongue speaker who is willing to commit to a summer period in Italy, with the possibility of obtaining a permanent position for the next academic year 2024/25.

The candidate must be able to work from beginning/mid June 2024 until 12th July 2024 and will be involved in Summer activities in Verbania and also in the Seaside Camp for kids from 8 to 16 years of age at the seaside in the Liguria region.

- EU resident, eligible to work in Italy
- Driving license
- University/College Degree
- Fun, enthusiastic, creative, hardworking and high energy person
- Genuine interested in working with children
- Willing to learn new teaching methods
- Open-minded, with an interest in learning about other cultures and societies
- Friendly and able to work as part of a team

Preferred, but not essential:
- Italian language speaker
- Skills in music and/or drama
- Ability to facilitate a variety of group programmes including sports, arts and crafts, theatre, games, etc.Salary and BenefitsContract length: 1,5 month

Pay: 900.00 EUR net/per month

It will also be an opportunity to consider a permanent full time teaching position for the following academic year from September 2024 to June 2025 at Joan's British Centre in Verbania.
