Job Requirements Required English Level: Fluent Required Japanese Level: Fluent Current Residence Requirement: Japan Visa Sponsorship: No OPIS, a leading international Clinical Research Organization (CRO), is seeking a "hungry for success" Business Development Associate who will help expand our global client network across the life sciences sector focusing on the APAC region. You'll collaborate with senior leaders to identify new business opportunities, research target companies, and connect with key decision-makers in pharma and biotech. You'll play a key role in introducing OPIS services, understanding client needs, and supporting long-term partnerships. What we're looking for High school diploma or a degree 1 - 3 years of experience in sales (BDR, SDR, recruitment, etc.) Native/fluent Japanese and English with strong communication skills Excellent organizational and planning abilities Proactive, team-oriented, and results-driven mindset Eagerness to grow Your main responsibilities Conducting in-depth market research to identify target companies and key decision-makers Mapping organizational structures to support strategic outreach Contacting potential clients via phone and email, presenting OPIS's services with clarity and professionalism Coordinating and scheduling virtual or face-to-face meetings between prospective clients and OPIS senior staff Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client data in our CRM system Following up with leads, managing communications, and building long-term relationships What we offer Competitive salary Full onboarding and training to ensure your success in the role Long-term growth opportunities and a clear career development path At OPIS, you'll join a collaborative international team where initiative and growth are encouraged.
