Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), providing field service capabilities to Hewlett Packard Enterprise customers as well delivering the difference in business oriented services, such as development, support and maintenance of applications, virtualisation, automation, cloud and infrastructure administration.
We are looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer who will work inside data centers; the role will primarily involve providing Server hardware support across a multi-vendor environment, Hardware consists of HPE Servers, Dell servers and provide Data Centre cabling activities installation, termination, patching and testing of all DC interlink cabling (i.e. CAT-5e, CAT-6 6A, fibre optic).
The role also includes the Data Centre Facilities management activities such as but not limited to IMAC\D (Install, Move And Change, decommissioning) work, escorting external resources, requesting access, goods in / out.
Installations, maintenance, and repairs on customer equipment.
Installation, termination and testing of all data centre interlink cabling.
To ensure all calls are resolved within the agreed SLA, ensuring calls are escalated when required and customers are updated until the call is resolved and closed.
The ability to communicate at all levels both written and verbal.
Basic configuration skills in Cisco, Aruba and/or Juniper. Must have strong knowledge of HPE Servers.
Good knowledge of Service Now (SNOW).
Good MS Office tool skills.
