As a key player in the manufacturing of automatic machinery for the tobacco industry, we specialize in cigarette making and packing, filter tubes, and machines for other tobacco products (OTP).
Our business encompasses a wide range of new technologies and special product development, aimed at developing new machines to respond to the latest market demands for medium-speed production lines.
SASIB is part of Coesia, a group of innovation-based industrial and packaging solutions companies operating globally, headquartered in Bologna, Italy. Coesia operates in 34 countries with 20 different companies and employs over 8,000 people as of 2024.
In collaboration with the sales area manager, the Sales Engineer manages the sales process, through the proper definition of business proposals, in line with budget objectives and the Direction guidelines.
The person will be involved in strategic activities with our network of global customers; the flexibility to undertake some travel is paramount.
The Sales Engineer : Collaborates with Sales Area Manager in the definition of sales budgets ensuring the strategic goals fulfilment;
Manages sales processes in order to consolidate and develop business results achieving assigned budgets;
Ensures constant monitoring of the assigned market area in terms of current / potential customers, risks and economic trends supporting the 'Sales Area' manager in the definition of the most effective promotional activities for business development and consolidation;
Master's Degree in Engineering;
Proficiency in English and Italian; any further language skills will be considered as a plus;
Availability to travel up to 75%.
