About the Role:
For our office in Milan , we are looking for a T ax and Accounting Specialist. The tax and accounting specialist ensures full compliance with tax regulations and manages end-to-end accounting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely tax filings and efficient tax operations. This role acts as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external authorities, supporting the Senior Manager in strategic decision-making through accurate financial data and proactive tax planning.


Responsibilities:

Management of general accounting processes, including invoice recording, document verification;
Collaborate with team for periodic financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance;
Collaborate with team for monthly and/or annual closing activities, including reconciliations and adjustments;
Prepare and support the Senior Manager for tax and accounting documentation for statutory and internal purposes;
Support the Senior Manager for compliance with local and international tax regulations, including timely tax filings and payments;
Collaborate with auditors and tax advisors to support audits and optimize fiscal strategies.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are considered a plus.


Required Skills:

Solid knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles (local GAAP);
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.


Preferred Skills:

~ Previous experience in accounting firms specialising in international taxation is considered a plus (for example: Transfer Pricing).
