Powersoft is the world leader in the design, production, and commercialization of products and patented solutions for applications in the professional audio field, such as big international shows, concerts, theatres, cinemas, stadiums, airports, train stations, cruises, etc. For increasing our QA and Test tooling development team in Florence, we are looking for candidates with strong experience in Test Automation to join our dynamic team as an Automation Test Engineer . The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. This role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams including firmware, software and hardware.
Design and develop automated test frameworks for various products (amplifier, desktop software, webapp, mobile app).
Implement and maintain automated test suites for regression, integration, and performance testing.
Collaborate with development teams to identify areas for automation and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report on findings.
Document test cases, procedures, and outcomes for ongoing reference and improvement.
Continuously optimize existing automation processes to maximize testing efficiency.
Ability to translate requirements into automated test cases.
Experience in C# programming language
Familiarity with version control systems like Git
Experience with network protocols and technologies (e.g., Experience with network performance testing tools (e.g., Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestComplete, TestNG, or Cypress
Proficiency in languages such as Python or JavaScript
Passion for audio is definitely a plus
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, electrical engineering
A combination of hardware and software skills would be a great advantage
Good communication skills in English, written and spoken
