We specialize in the development of prosthetic systems that merge electronics, software, and design with a focus on usability and user-centric functionality.Job PurposeAs an Electronic R&D Engineer, you will lead the design, development, protyping and testing of electronic systems for advanced biomedical devices. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working at the intersection of electronics, firmware, and biomechanics to create cutting-edge assistive technologies.Design and development of mixed-signal (analog/digital) electronic circuits for embedded systemsSupervise prototyping, testing, debugging, and validation of electronic boards and subsystems Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to ensure system-level integrationMentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout product lifecyclePerform electrical and functional laboratory measurementsDevelop microcontroller-based firmware for real-time systemsConduct technical reporting, testing documentation, and maintain R&D recordsMonitor industry trends and perform competitive analysisContribute to the protection of company Intellectual PropertyParticipate in the selection and qualification of suppliers and componentsEnsure compliance with internal procedures and standards for R&D warehouse usageSkills and qualifications we are looking for:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronic or Communication Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or MechatronicsMinimum 3 years of experience in electronic design in R&D departmentStrong expertise in PCB design with ECAD software (e.Experience with PCB assembly and reworkGood knowledge of microcontroller firmware development (C/C++)Fluent in both English and Italian (spoken and written)Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Strong communication and teamwork skillsA lean thinking mindset and an innovation-driven approachFamiliarity with IP management and certification procedures is a plus
