Who we are looking for Purpose The Corporate Communication Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing communication initiatives that reflect on our business development strategy and ensuring the corporate goals are communicated effectively to both internal and external stakeholders. Main Responsibilities Working closely with the Head of Global External Communications and Media Relations, you will develop and implement comprehensive media and PR strategies aligned with organizational goals, working with and guiding our PR agencies. Executing the corporate communication strategy and creating content for all external and internal communication channels e.g. press releases, institutional presentations, external meetings, folders, Website Content Strategy, Building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and international media Supporting company leaders on communication topics and in their contact with media facilitating talking points, speeches, ad-hoc briefings etc. Constantly monitor, oversee and analyse the external environment and the media coverage of the company to determine company positioning, anticipate issues and identify opportunities. Provide guidance and support to other departments within the company on implementing corporate communications. Manage resources to support effective execution of communication activities as required. Oversee quality and compliance of work. Experience Required 5 to 10 years of communications experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed global in-house or agency communications team. Experienced communicator with expertise in developing and delivering campaigns and activities that deliver measurable impact and return on investment. Experienced in developing evaluation approaches aligning internal, external, and collaborator communications against business priorities. Significant experience in managing different collaborator relationships and confidence in forging trusted relationships at a senior level. Education Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Languages Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian. Technical Skills You bring a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its unique challenges, you are comfortable navigating complex regulatory landscapes, managing crisis communication, and effectively communicating complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences Knowledge of sustainability reporting of environmental, social, and governance (ESG)performance, sustainability embedding in decision making and passion to keep up with the latest issues and trends on the sustainability field. Strong eye for detail and writing skills that include preparing executive summaries, speeches, memos, pre-reads, briefs and presentation materials. Public relations background, or journalism experience Experienced in project management and strategic planning. Soft Skills Sound judgment combined with strong interpersonal and influencing skills backed by deep analytical and critical thinking Ability to handle conflicting priorities, and collaborator and colleague expectations and deliver consistently high-quality outputs.
