We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate has very good knowledge of the German language, a solid understanding of software testing, strong attention to detail, and preferably some knowledge of German tax processes. Responsibilities Analyze business and technical requirements related to a German tax software; develop, document, and execute test cases and test scenarios Create and maintain comprehensive manual test suites for full functional coverage Perform mainly functional and regression testing Develop and maintain a clear and structured manual test strategy aligned with project timelines and deliverables Log, track, and verify bugs and issues in coordination with the development team Participate in reviews of user stories, requirements, and technical documentation from a QA perspective Qualifications University Degree in Computer Science, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in manual software testing Familiarity with government systems or financial/tax software is a plus Experience with test case management and issue tracking tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar) Experience in accounting and payroll is a plus Experience in Agile/Scrum environments Knowledge of data validation (e.g. XML) Experience in managing virtual machines in an open-source cloud computing platform (e.g. OpenNebula or similar) Excellent attention to detail and a structured, analytical approach Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team Good communication skills in German (C1 level required) and good English skills Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Quality Assurance Industries IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
