Your responsibilities and tasks:

GEA Group's Bakery Business Unit is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex IT projects, specifically SAP S/4HANA implementations, and will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the project within scope, time, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the SAP S/4HANA implementation project for the Bakery Business Unit.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, business unit leaders, and end users, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide regular updates and status reports to stakeholders, addressing any concerns or issues.

Team Management:

  • Assemble and manage a project team comprising internal staff, external consultants, and vendor resources.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to ensure team members are productive and engaged.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress and address any issues.

Risk and Issue Management:

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Ensure timely resolution of project issues and conflicts, escalating when necessary.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Monitor project expenditures, ensuring the project remains within budget.
  • Allocate and manage resources effectively to achieve project goals.
  • Prepare financial reports and forecasts related to project budgets.

Training and Support:

  • Oversee the development and delivery of training programs for end users to ensure they are prepared for the transition to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Provide ongoing support during and after implementation to ensure a smooth transition.

Your profile and qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is preferred.

Experience:

  • Project management experience. Nice to have at least 5 years managing SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects within a global organization.

Leadership and Communication Skills:

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
