Your Responsibilities In this role, you will be part of our Milan Software Development Hub, an agile team that develops modern software tools to help shape the next-generation elevator’s software to meet high quality and safety standards for Schindler’s products. Join our team to shape the future of mobile solutions, enhancing service quality and field efficiency. Lead the architecture of current and future mobile apps for fitters and technicians, ensuring alignment with platform vision and driving implementation within a global software engineering team. Your future challenges will include: Driving future-proof mobile app architectures aligned with strategy Partnering with stakeholders to shape architectural vision and technology roadmap Collaborating with product owners and teams on software architectural decisions Aligning with other architects to ensure platform consistency and critical interfaces Providing technical leadership and guidance to engineers during implementation Evaluating technology choices through PoCs and prototypes to ensure optimal solutions Contributing on sprint plans and challenge estimates and design proposals Driving adoption of modern architecture practices for continuous improvement Investigating and integrating commercial and open-source frameworks for optimal solutions Participating in all stages of development, from planning to deployment Guiding development teams and product owners on architectural decisions We Elevate… your best self You are a self-directed and self-organized, highly responsible, and reliable team player.
