A great opportunity for a Finance Manager

As the Country Finance Manager , you'll spearhead the financial, accounting, and administrative operations, delivering accurate insights for strategic decision-making while ensuring compliance with legal, tax, and reporting requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job's Purpose:

  • Oversee accounting, finance, and administrative processes, providing accurate insights for management decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to legal, tax, and reporting obligations within the country and company standards.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Qualifications: CA qualification advantageous; Honours Degree (BCom Accounting) and MBA preferred.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 6 years, ideally within a manufacturing environment .
  • Skills: Proficiency in finance, accounting, budgeting, IFRS, SAP-B1, automated financial systems, advanced MS Excel, and exceptional communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Controlling:

  • Produce timely financial reports, monthly reports, strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Analyse financial key figures and provide operational management with insightful support.

Accounting:

  • Manage all Accounting functions: Costing (non-negotiable) , General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, etc.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts, and ensure IFRS compliance.

Cash Management:

  • Optimize working capital needs and oversee credit control to minimize bad debts.
  • Manage cash flow, treasury, and tax requirements in line with Group standards.

Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to financial legislation, standards, and statutory obligations.
  • Maintain Corporate Governance aligned with Group standards, liaising with external entities as needed.

Internal Control:

  • Implement internal control systems safeguarding company assets.
  • Oversee effective internal controls, meeting the Internal Control Reference Framework (ICRF) requirements.
