We are seeking a Junior SAP Basis Administrator to join our team of System Management Service. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting and maintaining our customers' SAP landscapes. The candidate will assist in the management of SAP systems to ensure their performance, security, and stability, while also supporting day-to-day operational tasks. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual eager to grow their skills in SAP Basis administration and develop within a collaborative IT environment. Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of SAP systems, including performance tuning, system health checks, and ensuring uptime.
  • Help manage user accounts, roles, and authorizations within SAP systems, ensuring secure access and compliance with security policies.
  • Support in applying patches, service packs, and upgrades to SAP systems, including coordinating system refreshes and updates.
  • Assist in performing system backups, restoration, and disaster recovery tasks to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
  • Support transport management activities, ensuring successful migration of changes across different SAP environments (e.g., development, test, and production).
  • Respond to user incidents and service requests, resolving SAP-related issues in collaboration with senior team members or third-party vendors when necessary.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks across the SAP landscape, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Help maintain comprehensive system documentation, including installation, configuration, and operational guidelines, to ensure consistency and reliability in system management.
  • Work closely with senior SAP Basis Administrators, SAP functional teams, and other IT departments to resolve technical issues and improve the overall efficiency of SAP systems.
Job Requirements:

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or SAP Basis administration.
  • Hands-on experience in working with SAP systems (internship or academic experience acceptable).
  • Basic understanding of SAP Basis administration tasks, including system installation, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver, HANA, or other related SAP technologies.
  • Understanding of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or HANA.
  • Basic knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows).
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common technical issues.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud environments and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages for system administration tasks.
  • Certifications in SAP Basis or related areas are preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for training or business needs.
