12810Food Security and Health Adaptation ExpertsDeadline: January 25th, 2026 We are seeking three highly motivated and talented experts in food security and health adaptation to join the interdisciplinary team of the CMCC Foundation – Centro Euro-Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici, based in Venice, Italy. They will contribute to advancing knowledge on climate change impacts and adaptation, with a particular focus on food security, health, and related policy strategies. CMCC Foundation is a cross‐cutting scientific research center on climate change and its interactions with the environment, society, the world of business, and policymakers. Our work aims to stimulate sustainable growth, protect the environment, and develop strategies for the adaptation and mitigation of climate change. We are now embarking on a new chapter of our journey that will further boost CMCC's global position in climate change research...RESPONSIBILITIES Developing research on the effects of climate change on food and nutritional security in Europe using a data‐driven approach. Preparing reports, briefings, and presentations to communicate research findings and policy analyses to policymakers, practitioners, and other stakeholders. PhD in Applied Economics, or International Development, or other related social science subjects, including human health, development, environmental policy, or equivalent subjects. For the food security expert: Minimum of 25 years of professional experience working on climate change and food security. For the food security expert: Publication of relevant food security related indicators. Minimum of 3 years of work experience on health systems and policies. Very good knowledge of the English language. The appointment period will vary from 2 to 12 months. Contract and gross annual salary will be based on qualifications and working experience competitive with major research centers in Europe. Flexible working time as per internal policies.
