Role Summary Cinemark Assistant Managers oversee theatre operations, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and operational standards are achieved. They are cross‐trained in all departments, support where needed, and provide inspirational training to all employees. The Assistant Manager can advance to Senior Assistant Manager, then to Theatre Manager or General Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program and working a minimum of six months. Responsibilities Follow the direction of the General Manager. Support the General Manager's decisions in communication with staff. Work in all departments and fulfill all theatre job functions. Train and coach team members in their specific roles. Assist in preparing administrative and special reports for the General Manager. Inspect theatre building, parking lot, landscaping, property, roof, signage, and equipment conditions. Report needed repairs to the General Manager. Ensure team members follow the dress code. Interact with guests to improve service and ensure superior customer service. Adhere to policies and procedures established in Cinemark's Guidelines, enforcing them fairly and consistently. Report employee relations issues to the General Manager (or the appropriate reporting portal in the GM's absence). Follow the Employee Relations Reporting Protocol and uphold high work‐ethic standards and code of conduct. Identify and sanitize high‐contact areas, employ PPE, and adapt to cleaning task requirements. Address safety or security issues promptly. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 18 years of age. High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred. Completion of three basic courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, MAP Core) in Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program. Basic food‐handling training and all required local or state certifications. Safe Alcohol Service training for employees working with alcohol. Availability for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Regular and consistent attendance. Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift. Excellent guest service and cash handling skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English. Ability to work independently and in a team. Capacity to take and follow direction, respond with urgency. Excellent time‐management, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to train and lead others. Conflict‐resolution skills. Physical and Environmental Requirements Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, and reaching around the theatre. Noise levels may be moderate to high at times. Ability to stand for extended periods.
