We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer – CREO Specialist to join our dynamic team in Bologna, Italy .

This position must have an in-depth knowledge of the CREO-MCAD, preferably as CREO trainer or CREO consultant, being the reference for the whole team determining and implementing best practices for the utilization of the MCAD. Responsibilities include making 3D-Model Based Design CAD drawings with CREO MCAD, designing electrical connections using power cables and/or copper bus bars in conjunction with the electrical team, and providing good technical documentation both at the component and system level.

Support the assembly team during the manufacturing of the prototypes.

What kind of work will you be doing?

  • Be the reference of the team for CREO-MCAD best practices.
  • Design and industrialization of the products using the 3D MCAD.
  • Coordinate the activities and provide the necessary documentation to start the CO processes.
  • Cooperate with the other engineering functions during the definition of the product specification.
  • Produce technical documentation in line with the process requirements such as drawings and component specifications.
  • Support the manufacturing team for the resolution of problems during the manufacturing process.

What will make you successful?

  • Excellent knowledge of 3D/2D/Model Based Design CAD (SW knowledge: PTC Creo 6 or newer). Preferably as CREO trainer or CREO consultant.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, documentation, and communication skills are required.
  • Good team working attitude and communication skills.
  • Capability of writing professional technical documentation in English.
  • Customer-oriented and availability to travel.
  • English language knowledge.
