Accountant (maternity replacement)

Bulgari Distribuzione Srl., within its Leather Goods & Accessories Business Unit based in Florence, is looking for an Accountant Specialist (maternity replacement). We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organized Accountant Specialist. The candidate will have the opportunity to manage the book-keeping operations according to the Corporate Accounting Principles and to the local legal and fiscal requirement in order to ensure smooth & accurate financial processes. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Perform the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions (full cycle: book A/P invoices), generation A/R invoices, process, and post A/P payments and A/R receipts; Monitor the effectiveness of the key controls in order to guarantee the proper management of the accounting of the company (active cycle, passive cycle, merchandise and general ledger accounting), respecting the local accounting, administrative and fiscal laws and the Group accounting principles; Monitor the issue and registration of all fiscal documents (in and out) related to the main company businesses, services, purchases, etc. in order to ensure: data completeness, correctness and compliance with the local fiscal laws; Ensure periodic fiscal activities (V.A.T., withholding tax, Intrastat, Income TAX). Prepare and book treasury transactions on a timely basis and ensure accuracy. Manage treasury transactions related to the settlement of receipts, payments, investments and borrowing. Ensure the monthly Inter-Company reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and profit and loss. Prepare the monthly closing preparation including journal entries, depreciation entries, accruals and reconciliations to the General Ledger and providing other departments with all the necessary information. Assist in research and resolution of all types accounting issues. Assist in documenting processes for intraUE and extraUE sales and aligning to standard processes/procedures across the company. Ensure proper accounting administrative activities in meeting deadlines. Ensure the monthly closing for the purpose of the consolidated financial statements. Perform routine activities relevant to general administration archiving and filing the documents. Qualifications / Professional Capabilities Degree in Economics would be a plus; At least 1-2 years’ experience in similar role; Experience applying quantitative data analysis; Very good knowledge of MS Office tools, SAP knowledge and experience will be a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
