Job Title: Senior Project Manager for our Core Business

As a Senior Project Manager in the Core Project Management team, your responsibilities will include:

  • High-Level Project Management: Oversee and manage high-potential and key accounts, ensuring projects are profitable and efficient on a large scale. Assign tasks to and collaborate with Project Managers to ensure successful project completion and high client retention.
  • Client Communication and Partnership Development: Act as the primary contact for key clients, building strong relationships through clear communication. Proactively address concerns and regularly update clients on project progress to ensure satisfaction and retention. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and customize solutions that align with their goals.
  • Process and Workflow Optimization: Define and implement processes that align with strategic business objectives and technical feasibility. Promote innovation through the continuous improvement of workflows and the adoption of new technologies.
  • Performance Monitoring and Data-Driven Decision Making: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvements and assess project performance. Make informed, data-driven decisions to enhance project outcomes.
  • Strategic Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with the Head of Project Management (HPM) to prioritize activities, ensuring coordinated efforts across all involved stakeholders for seamless project execution.

General Requirements

  • Excellent proficiency in English, with an additional language such as German or French preferred.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer and web proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in client-facing interactions, with the ability to build trust and foster long-term relationships.
  • High analytical ability to interpret data, evaluate project performance, and make informed decisions to optimize processes and outcomes.
  • Strong motivation and work ethic.
  • Extensive experience in the translation industry with a minimum of 5 years.
  • Robust ability to manage stress, excel under high pressure, and handle a substantial workload efficiently.
