As the Sr Director, European Business Unit Security , you will report to a VP of EU BU and be ultimately responsible for the development and successful execution of the multi‑year European Operations Plan for your focus area, establishing and maintaining winning relationships with vendors and key reseller customers and directing local country leads in the execution of their applicable strategy.
Develop and execute the AOP, value propositions, and tactical quarterly plans.
Maintain the main partnerships (vendor and customers) to enable the plan.
Identify, evaluate and help close possible acquisitions to accelerate the plan.
Own the execution of European sub‑operations plan, achieving quarterly and annual business objectives.
Engage with country management exec teams in quarterly reviews and planning sessions.
5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in the IT sector, ideally within a vendor, distributor or partner environment, with proven exposure to European markets.
~ Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. Additional European languages are a plus.
~ Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or a related field required; Ability to communicate clearly and convey information effectively across different levels of management and in multicultural environments.
~ Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to drive tasks to completion and meet deadlines.
~ Proficiency in relevant computer systems and tools at an advanced level, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
