For an international Food Ingredients Distributor we are looking for a
Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients
You will sell Food Ingredients to the Food and Beverage Industry
- The position will be home office-based.
- You will be responsible for the business development of a selection of food ingredients in different branches of the food industry.
Tasks
- Analysis of the market and the product range of our suppliers to find new potentials.
- Responsible for making market strategy, purchasing, and selling of assigned product groups in Italy.
- Building a close relationship with our suppliers and customers.
- Visits of customers, analysis of their needs, creation of value propositions.
- Participation in production trials at the customer / implementation of small-scale trials in the application kitchen.
- Project management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager.
- Alignment of the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers and the Country Manager.
- You will benefit from numerous pieces of training (internal and abroad) every year.
- Discover and understand customer’s needs and develop tailor-made solutions.
- Conduct lab, small-scale, or industrial trials with customers.
- Follow up offers, payments, etc.
- Develop and execute sales budget and forecasts.
Requirements
- Degree in Food Technology (Must have).
- Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development.
- Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- High willingness to travel.
- Very organized, reliable, positive thinking.
- Very good knowledge of Italian and English (fluent in spoken and written) (Must have).
- You have a valid driving license (Must have).
