- Product Costing /b. The bProduct Costing Manager /b defines, implements, and governs standard product costing frameworks across the bABB Electrification Smart Power (ABB ELSP) Division /b globally. /ppThis role ensures consistent costing methodology across diverse operational models, bincluding Make to Stock (MTS), Make to Order (MTO), Configure to Order (CTO), and Engineer to Order (ETO). /b The role acts as the global costing authority, driving alignment across local units and supporting local and division teams through the design and implementation journey. /ppThe successful candidate might also be required to coordinate and support the design efforts across other ABB Electrification (ABB EL) as part of the DSM journey. /ppThe work model for the role is: bhybrid /b. This is a bglobal position with preference /b for bcandidates in Europe /b. /ph3bYou will be mainly accountable for: /b /h3ulliEnsuring transparency in production costs, costs of goods sold and production variances. /liliServe as the global owner for ELSP product costing guidelines, policies, and master data costing governance. /liliDrive variance analysis standards (purchase price variance, production variances, capacity utilization) to support operational decision-making and margin management. /liliLead implementation of the defined product costing principles, structures, and calculation methodologies across all ELSP locations, business lines and related ERP environments. /liliPartner with local operating units and finance teams to align local costing practices with divisional standards during the implementation phase (also where needed are aligned via DSM timeline). /liliProvide subject matter expertise on ERP product costing configurations (SAP CO-PC / material ledger) and harmonize costing runs across entities. /liliTrain, coach, and guide local controllers and plant finance teams to ensure adoption and continuous compliance with standard costing practices. /liliThe selected candidate may also be required to partner with EL Divisions to support design and implementation journey of product costing during the DSM journey. /li /ulh3bQualifications for the role: /b /h3ulliDegree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline. bProfessional certification (CIMA, CMA, CPA) /bis an advantage. /liliMinimum b7 to 10 years of experience in product costing, manufacturing controlling, or operations finance /b within a bglobal industrial manufacturing environment /b. ABB experience is preferred. /liliIn-depth understanding of diverse manufacturing archetypes: bMTS, MTO, CTO, and ETO, including project-based costing mechanics. /b /liliStrong practical knowledge of bSAP CO-PC, material master costing views, BOM/routing integration, and overhead allocation logic. /b /liliWorking experience with bCFIN, SAC, SAP BW, ABACUS, ATLAS, Power BI /bwithin ABB or similar environments.
