Accounting Supervisor

Industry: Home Appliance Manufacturing (Local entity: Sales & Trading company)
We are seeking a skilled and proactive General Ledger Accountant to join our Italy-based team . As part of a global home appliance manufacturing group, our Italian entity focuses on local marketing, sales, and distribution. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate local financial records and ensuring compliance with Italian regulations .
The ideal candidate brings experience from multinational or Asian companies, is adaptable to startup-like environments, and can work independently in a dynamic and fast-changing business.
Manage general ledger accounting and ensure compliance with Italian GAAP (OIC)
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and generate financial reports
Maintain reconciliations for bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets
Coordinate local tax declarations ( VAT, IRPEF, Corporate Income Tax ) with external consultants
Support internal and external audit procedures
Collaborate with local and global teams to align financial operations
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in general ledger or full-cycle accounting
SAP, Oracle, Navision)
Strong knowledge of Italian accounting and taxation regulations
Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
Experience working with Asian companies or cross-cultural teams is a strong plus
Must hold valid Italian permanent/long-term residency
