What you will do

As a Future Talent - Automation Engineer, you will be involved in the following activities:

  • Professional support of Project Manager process engineer (mechanical maintenance engineer) in machine breakdown troubleshooting, analysis, and countermeasure introduction
  • Create, develop, test and support automation systems
  • Safeguard OT systems
  • Work together with local and international suppliers (internal, external)
  • Specialist of in-line quality inspection gauges
  • Participating in TPM activities
  • Research new automation solutions to meet the specifications
  • Participate in installation projects of new production lines
  • Design automation solutions according to corporate standards and product specifications
  • Work with production teams to create integrated software standards, processes and tools
  • Validate and maintain automation solutions – supporting the annual maintenance plan

We believe you have

You have finished or are about to finish your Automation, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or Industrial Control and Communication Systems Bachelor or Master Degree studies; graduation year 2023 or 2024.

You are fluent in English and Italian, both written and verbal.

  • Siemens PLC programming and Aveva Wonderware software knowledge and experience on DC/AC/Servo drive is an advantage
  • Computer literacy: MS Office, ERP (preferred: SAP), SQL server
  • Willingness to learn specific software (e.g. Filemaker)
  • Willingness to travel abroad
  • Able to cooperate in a matrix organisation

You have a mature and professional personality with the ability to create and utilize a broad network. You are a problem solver with a strong personal drive.

About us

We are specialists in complete solutions for the processing, packaging and distribution of food products. Dairy products, juices and nectars, ice cream, cheese, dry foods, fruits, vegetables and pet food are examples of products that can be processed or packaged in Tetra Pak processing and packaging lines. We focus on keeping the consumption of all raw materials and energy to a minimum during both the manufacturing process and distribution. The processing solutions are also designed to treat the products gently.
