Application Engineer - Precision Mechanical Assemblies (m/f/d) NMB-Minebea-GmbH in Langen near Frankfurt am Main is the European sales headquarterof MinebeaMitsumi Inc, a globally active technology group from Japan. We are looking for an Application Engineer (m/f/d) for our precision mechanical assemblies (PMC) division in Langen (Frankfurt am Main) as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:
Technical support to customers before and after sales
PMC specification definition based on customer requirements
Technical preparation and support for quotation and projects
Visit customer together with TSE or individually having direct contact with customer's Technical Dept.
Setup and continuously increase the relationship with main customers
Sample action request through QSS DB and follow up until get final approval from customer including initial sample report
Audit preparation for the customer at our NMB factories
Preparation/submission of technical/quality documentation required like data sheet, drawings, investigation report, catalogue etc. for customer and sales division
Support transfer business to customer global facilities in USA and Asia
Failure investigation from customer products at NMB lab including investigation report and presentation of the investigation result at the customer
Technical support to assist in finding a new application
Customer seminary and presentation for sales/engineering meeting
Communication and information transfer from the items above to NMB head quarter and factories

Your qualifications:
Engineering studies - specializing in general mechanical engineering, manufacturing or precision engineering
Very good knowledge of MS-Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point)
Very good written and spoken English skills -at best also knowledge of German
Knowledge of QA systems such as ISO 9000, IATF16949
Persuasiveness and negotiation skills
Experience in handling laboratory equipment and technical analyses
Driver's license
Willingness to travel
