About the location:
Perched on a rocky promontory high above the Ionian Sea, the iconic San Domenico Palace welcomes you to a 14th-century convent reimagined. About the role:
This role reports to the Director of People and Culture and you will oversee the day-to-day running of the People and Culture function, assisting in leading the People and Culture strategy with a focus on Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development activities, being directly involved in new employee orientation, ethics & safety and leadership training delivery.
What will you do:
- Championing top talent and actively supporting succession planning.
- Supporting the hotel as a Business Partner.
- Defining and communicating People & Culture vision and roles consistent with helping the organization to implement strategies which attain overall goals and objectives.
- Supporting and driving Corporate People and Culture initiatives.
- Supporting top talents in defining their development path as internal consultant and expert in L&D area.
- Managing the financials of the budget, with a focus on L&D and training impact within our property.
- Actively supporting recruitment, selection and onboarding requirements.
- Conducting regular audits of People and Culture records.
What you bring:
- 3-5 years of experience as a People & Culture Manager or above, preferably with Four Seasons or another luxury Hospitality brand.
- Solid experience in People & Culture Leadership and Strategy, Employee Relations and Engagement and Talent Acquisition.
- Strong working knowledge of Italian labor law, Workday HRIS and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience in dealing with unions.
- Fluent in English and Italian, both verbal and written.
