About the role:

Overall description of the job

The candidate will work within Purchasing department with focus on material’s management, procurement, and production planning. She/he will work directly with Value Stream Planning Manager supporting Purchasing Manager when needed.

Workplace: Gunnebo Entrance Control S.p.A., Lavis, Italy. Business Trips, mostly in north of Italy, will be required

Duration: This is permanent full time position

Reporting to: Value Stream Planning Manager

What you will do:

· Following the framework defined by the Purchasing Manager and coordinated by Value Stream Planning Manager, to issue POs to Suppliers as required by the Production Schedule and MRP

· To agree delivery dates with Suppliers and to expedite the deliveries, according to Production Schedule

· To manage stock transactions, outward/inward logistic (parts to and from Suppliers)

· To support Purchasing Manager in scouting new suppliers

Experience:

The ideal candidate has a 2-3 years of experience in the role in similar fields. Will be a dynamic person, with a technical education.

Key requirements include:

· Technical background with skills in reading and understanding drawings and technical documents;

· Very good skills in Office tools utilization;

· Experience with ERPs, especially with Purchasing modules, BOMs and MRP;

· Experience in basic negotiation and in dealing with external partners;

· Digital expertise

Preferable requirements include:

· Basic Lean Manufacturing concepts know-how is a plus;

· Familiarity with Access and SQL database is a plus

Knowledge / Education:

• Technical Education

• Fluency in Italian and English, both orally and written;

Competences:

• Dynamic personality, ready to move from one task to others following priorities and needs;

• Being a Team Player and willing to deal with different departments in order to ensure Customer’s needs are understood and fulfilled.
